Great Tunes for Everyday Life!

Lets kick off the weekend with some new music coming for Sol. Recorded in Durban, South Africa here’s Solzilla - Sometime In April. Produced by Nima Skeemz and mastered with Elan Wright aka The Zillas. I’m pumped to see what else is coming from Sol after his travels, Old Him and Sometime In April have been on some next level shit. If we sold out his Farewell concert at the Showbox last year, we’re gonna need a bigger venue for his Return Home concert. He’ll be back in April so let somebody know.

Took a little break from posting since the New Year, but I’m back and we’re kicking it off with Start Something Sunday. Due to our socially media it seems like more and more individuals have a outlet for the emotions and feelings online and sadly there’s a lot of people that are unhappy. Last year they really started to gain traction on this Anti-bullying movement, it only takes a goggle search to realize that bullying has taken a really dark and sometimes twisted turn for the worse. Back in middle school I use to be a bully, I look back now and see the stupidity of my actions. I’m one the lucky ones, I got a chance to know the people I picked on and ended up becoming great friends with those individuals. I hear these stories of what victims/students have to go through now and its disturbing. K-12 should be the time we all should be empowered with Hope and that we can achieve anything, no student should be made out to feel that there is no Hope and be made to feel like there’s no way out and consider suicide. Sorry for the rant but it leads into today’s song, Third Eye Blind - Jumper off their self-titled, Third Eye Blind.

Wednesday brings you some more holiday cheer brought to you by Sam Lachow Featuring Nacho Picasso & Ryan Campbell - Cold off the Avenue Music EP. I wouldn’t mind shopping at Malls during the Holiday season if instead of Justin Bieber holiday songs they played tracks like this, lol.

Mellow Monday brings you a throwback joint off The Game’s debut album The Documentary. Its Christmas Eve and most people go back to their hometowns, kickin it with some old friends you ain’t seen in a while, and looking at some of your boxed things at your parents house. I remember when this CD came out, I had been downloaded music for a minute now and I just happy that the West Coast got some new light shined on it that I went out and bought it. His best album do date, here’s The Game featuring Busta Rhymes - Like Father, Like Son.
