Start Something Sunday will be back next week in order to post today’s amazing song. I truly believe 2012 will be the year for NW music. One of the artist I’m most looking forward to hearing more of is Ray Dalton. To call him the Nate Dogg of NW Hip Hop is an understatement to the mans talent. Nate Dogg was a staple in West Coast Hip Hop but never met the same success as a Solo artist. The first song I heard Ray Dalton on was Macklemore’s - Can’t Hold Us. I honestly thought they got John Legend on that hook. Interesting enough my favorite song of Sol’s Yours Truly - Need Your Love featuring Ray Dalton was where Ryan Lewis and Macklemore first heard of Ray Dalton and wanted to work with him. He has the sound thats a fusion of John Legend and Anthony Hamilton. Anyways I came across today’s song on Youtube and it had to be today’s post. Here’s a great fuckin’ song from Camila Recchio Featuring Ray Dalton - Whisper. Camila Recchio was featured on the piano for Macklemore’s Wings as was Ray on vocals.
